Good afternoon O’Dea Core Knowledge Elementary families! Whew…today was simply…an amazing day. Our Fun Run weather was perfect…our students ran more laps than I could count…our parents were here supporting and cheering them on…the energy was so positive and full of love…we shall ALL sleep well this evening.
I cannot thank you enough for your support during this fundraising window. We earned more funding for our school…than ever before. We are going to be able to do so many great things for our students…our site…and our school community. My heart is so full right now. Our students earned all of their events and will not only get a pajama day…a roller skating teacher day…a personal serenade of Let It Go…Mr. Joyal on the roof day…and for the first time ever…we will be sending Mr. Joyal sky diving for our school. Wow! We will be creating a schedule of events next week and will send out updates as soon as we can.

Our O’Dea Torchy’s Taco Night was the best school night that they have ever had! I am so proud of our families…for their support of our events…and their ability to eat tacos as well! If you are interested in joining us for another dinner out event…please join us at the Garlic Knot on Thursday, October 28th (all day) for delivery…dine out…or dine in. As I enter this weekend…I am happily exhausted. I am heading up to Lander, WY as I hear that there is year-round climbing up that way…so it has piqued my curiosity just a bit. I will spend some time outside…enjoying the fall colors and resting up from this busy week as well. It is such a great balance…we give a lot of energy…and rest up to refuel…we give a lot of love…and then find places to fill us up all over again…it just feels good. I hope you all have lovely weekends as well.
