Burritos and Book Fair Event

Good afternoon O’Dea Core Knowledge Elementary Families!  We have a super exciting event coming up next week that we wanted to share with you.  On Tuesday, November 9th we are hosting our First Annual Burritos and Book Fair event on our blacktop area before school.  We cannot wait to roll our Scholastic Book Fair outside and pass out free burritos…orange juice and coffee to our entire school community!  It will be a lovely way to start our day together with great books and great burritos from Torchy’s…so plan on swinging by before school between 8:00am and 9:00am to peruse our books for sale and eat breakfast outside with your children.  I am attaching the flyer here with more information so be sure to check it out!  Books and Burritos flyer.pdf

*Our campus will be open to families at 8:00 for this event…if you are not able to attend with your child…please have them arrive at school at the traditional time window of 8:50 – 9:00am...we will make sure that they grab a burrito when they arrive...yet they must be surpervised if they are coming early...thank you!

We are also hosting our next PTA meeting on Monday, November 8th at 6:00pm.  Please join us to help decide where to dedicate the funds that we earned from our Boosterthon/Fun Run Event.  I am attaching the PTA newsletter here with more information and the link to join our virtual meeting. November 2021 Newsletter.pdf  I hope to see you there!

It has been a jam-packed week already…with more learning and laughter on the way for the remainder of the week…and that just feels good!

Please reach out to the front office at 488.4450 with any questions…we are here to help!

Much love and happy Novembering,

Laurie
