I have been teaching 4th and 5th graders for 15 years, and I have three super-sweet and fun children. Cora is a 6th grader at Lesher Middle School, Jackie D is in 2nd grade at O'Dea, and Gracie Jane is in pre-K. I absolutely love teaching at O'Dea because of the positive culture and the amazing students and families!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree Specializing in Literacy. Both are from the University of Northern Colorado.
I grew up in the beautiful, historic town of Manitou Springs, Colorado.
I enjoy golfing, going to the splash park with my kids, and taking family trips to Venice, Florida every summer to visit relatives.

I also love the book Wonder.
Welcome to the wonderful world of 4th grade! Here we will go on field trips to Centennial Village and Colorado Rendezvous for our Colorado History Unit! We will also learn about Medieval Europe, The American Revolution and our United States Constitution...just to name a few topics that I find interesting! We will also become masters of long division, fractions, geometry, and so much more! Another part of 4th grade that gets me excited is to see the number of chapter books and novels that my students read over the course of the year!! Along with this, 4th graders get to see their reading levels soar to new heights...this makes me so happy!! I truly love teaching 4th grade!
