I teach because I love the curiosity and enthusiasm of my students. I want every child to know that I believe in them and with hard work they will reach their highest potential! “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”. (William Butler Yeats)
I live here in Fort Collins with my 10 year old daughter, Brooke, my 14 year old son, Nick, and my husband, Marc.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with and emphasis in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado.
I enjoy hiking, reading, camping, and playing with my ADORABLE Goldendoodle, Kingsley!
"Wonder is the beginning of wisdom"
"The Kite Runner" and "The Glass Castle"
Steelers (My husband won't allow me to cheer for anyone else! ;)
In my class we will laugh, discuss, challenge each other, support one another and learn to be critical thinkers who are always asking questions. I love coming to work each day, and I want my students to feel the same way about coming into our room!
