About Me
Family:

I LOVE my family! My husband is a 5th Grade teacher in Windsor and we have 2 sweet sons. Grayson is four and a half and Garrett is almost one. They are both such happy, bright, and energetic boys! They are the joy of our lives. We also have two cats, Ace and Beau.

Education:

I have a BA in K-12 Art Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I am looking forward to starting a masters program soon!

Hometown:

I am a Colorado Native! I grew up in Berthoud, lived in Greeley for 7 years, and my family and I moved to Fort Collins in 2014. We are currently building a house in Windsor and are looking forward to moving in when it is done!

Interests/Hobbies:

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and boys. We all love to go on walks, explore parks, and spend time at home playing and relaxing. I also love to watch movies, travel, cook and eat, spend time with family, and of course... create art!! I love being an art teacher... I truly feel that I have the greatest job in the world!!

Favorite Quote:

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." Pablo Picasso

Favorite Book or Story:

My favorite book is "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds!

My Classroom
About My Classroom:

Our Classroom is a TAB Art Studio. TAB stands for Teaching for Artistic Behavior, so we are learning how to be artists! Our classroom is set up into six different studios, including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, fibers, and printmaking, where students create art based on their own ideas and interests. We gather ideas, make a plan, create AMAZING art, and share our art with others! I am looking forward to another great year... watching our little O'Dea owls create masterpieces!
