O'Dea Owl Families,
We had a great week at O’Dea, with fun events throughout the building. Our 4th Graders had a swimming party today for being top earners for Boosterthon, and special thanks to all our 2nd Grade Families for joining Potato Olympics! We also welcomed back Lesley Tordik, our School Counselor, who returned from maternity leave today!
NEW - As part of our focus on Family Engagement this year, we are starting new Student Award Assemblies! The awards are tied to our PurposeFull People Social Emotional Curriculum that students learn during counseling each week. Each month, we focus on a different trait, and for the upcoming assembly, we will celebrate students who have displayed the character traits of respect, responsibility, and gratitude. Students that classroom teachers have identified will be celebrated next Friday afternoon at our Awards Ceremony! Parents will be notified today via email if their student will be honored next Friday (11/22), and parents are invited to attend!

11/18 School Accountability Meeting: Meet with Dr. Martin and Mr. Joyal to discuss the state of O’Dea. We will be discussing building progress budget/staffing forecasts for the 25/26 school year. The link is embedded below in the calendar - please copy and paste it into your browser.

11/21 Choir Concert
11/21-1/16 O'Dea Artwork on Display at the Creative Endeavors, PSD Art Show! All K-5 students created Mini Masterpieces in Art Class. These pieces are hung together as collaborative artwork and will be displayed at the Foothills Fashion Mall from November 21st - January 16th!
