We are very excited that you will be joining the O’Dea community! Elementary school is such an amazing time for our children and our families and here at O'Dea we work very hard to ensure that it is simply the greatest start to your child's education in Poudre School District. You will find important information on the links on this page... be sure to take a look at the resources and documents to the left, where you will find what you need as you register your child at O'Dea.
Since we understand that kindergarten may be a new experience for some of our families, we have a separate webpage that specifically addresses kindergarten at O'Dea. You will find a link to our Kindergarten Registration page on the menu bar above (under K-5 Registration) or to the left. Be sure to watch the Welcome to Kindergarten Presentation and plan on taking a tour of our amazing school, if you are a new kindergarten family joining us.
Registration and School of Choice Dates
Kindergarten Registration
Children must be at least five years old on or before October 1, 2024 to attend Kindergarten in Colorado public schools during the 2024 - 2025 school year. When you register your child, please be prepared to upload the following to the PSD online registration system: verification of your child's date of birth (birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate, etc.) an up-to-date immunization record for your child and proof of address (utility bill or lease agreement).
Parents of all incoming Kindergarten students for the 2024 - 2025 school year who live in the attendance area of a PSD neighborhood school are required to register their child. Parents should register their new kindergarten student online at http://olr.psdschools.org.
Registration for Students New to the O’Dea Attendance Area
Parents/guardians of all new Poudre School District (PSD) students who live in the O’Dea attendance area should register their student online at http://olr.psdschools.org. If you are unable to register online or have any questions about the registration process please call the school office at 488-4450 for more information. School of Choice Applications
If you live outside of the O’Dea attendance area and would like your child to attend O’Dea, you must complete a School of Choice application. Visit this link for more information about school choice in Poudre School District, including the online school of choice application.
