O'Dea Families,

With our blast of cold and snowy weather, stay warm this weekend!!!  Also, good luck to all the Broncos Fans - may Jarett Stidham be the new Nick Foles!  During the cold-weather months, please ensure students have adequate winter gear so they can stay warm during recess!  

Thanks to everyone who came out to Chipotle for Dinner Night Out on Wednesday!  The proceeds directly support our O’Dea PTA and each student at O’Dea. We have switched back to in-person PTA meetings, and all are welcome to join!  PTA wants to focus on increasing family engagement in the upcoming year, and we would love to have your voice and input.  Our next meeting will be on 2/10, and we would love to see new parents who want to jump in and support O’Dea (see additional PTA news in the PTA Newsletter)! 

It’s not too late to order your O’Dea Heart-o-Grams!  Heart-o-Grams are a Student Council Fundraiser in which students can gift a Heart-o-Gram to other students or teachers.  They cost $1.00 each.  Each Heart-o-Gram will contain a special item wrapped with custom artwork by our O’Dea Student Council.  The last day to return the form and guarantee chosen items is Tuesday, January 27th. Heart-o-Grams will be handed out on February 13th.

Treat the Teachers! Valentine’s Charcuterie Addition!  We’re hosting Treat the Teachers - charcuterie celebration to shower our wonderful teachers with LOVE (and cheese!) We’d love your help by donating charcuterie-style food items such as cheeses, crackers, fruits, chocolates, or other sweet and savory treats. Library Helpers Needed (Quarter 3)
Our amazing Library team is looking for volunteers to assist students with finding and checking out books on Wednesday and reshelving books on Thursdays. It’s a great opportunity to support literacy and connect with students!
