Thanks to everyone who came to Book Fair with Donuts Event on Tuesday. We loved seeing so many families attend! Special thanks to PTA and all of our volunteers who helped support this event. We could not have done it without you!
PTA is looking for some help next Thursday to TREAT the O’Dea TEACHERS - with a Taco Bar on Thursday, Nov. 13th: Please consider signing up for an ingredient or two 🙂. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0D49ABAA2FA5FB6-60245248-treat (cut and paste link in your browser).
We have launched our annual O’Dea Food Drive. This year, this is especially important as food insecurity for families has increased. Many events are affecting some of our families' access to food resources. Please consider donating food items or gift cards to help some of our families this holiday season.
We have the 2026-27 Kindergarten Orientation next Wednesday, 6:30-7:30. If you have an incoming Kindergarten Student, this is an excellent opportunity to meet the teachers and learn all about Kindergarten for next school year!
Halloween Candy Buyback!!!! Do you have tons of Halloween Candy that you would like to donate to a good cause? We have our annual candy buyback, where students can exchange Halloween Candy for Owl Slips—25 Pieces = 1 Owl Slip. Owl Slips can be turned into our weekly prize drawing on Fridays. The candy helps feed hungry teachers who work long hours throughout the year :). Also, students are welcome to have candy in their lunches, but we don’t allow candy consumption throughout the day or during recess.
We are excited to begin planning the O’Dea Talent Show on 12/19! Please see attached information on Student Try-Outs and Parent Permission Form.
Please see the attached newsletter for important updates and events (Google Doc & 11-7 Weekly Owl Family Update.docx (2).pdf)!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Dr. M
