Core Knowledge

What is Core Knowledge?

O'Dea Elementary is a Core Knowledge school, using a content-rich curriculum based on the Core Knowledge Sequence. The Core Knowledge curriculum gives students from different regions and economic backgrounds a common language with which to produce shared knowledge. A coherent approach to specific content enhances students' critical thinking and higher-order thinking skills.
