Welcome Back O'Dea Owl Families!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer filled with exciting adventures and cherished memories!  My summer was spent in the wilds of Wyoming, California, Utah, and Michigan with my wife Michelle, daughter Camille, and two dogs Walter and Millie.  I unplugged and spent all my available hours outside in the mountains hiking, cycling, camping, scouting, and fishing.

As we prepare for another school year, we are eager to embark on a journey of learning, growth, and discovery with your children! O'Dea is an amazing place that stands out in the PSD community as a destination school.  This is due to the strong partnerships between parents/guardians and teachers/staff members.  In my second year as principal, my leadership will shift from stewardship (maintaining O'Dea's greatness) to craftmanship (refining and growing O'Dea to sustain excellence over time).  I look forward to working with teacher leaders, parents, and students to help O'Dea continually fulfill our mission to Inspire, Nurture, Teach, and Learn.   

July and August bring us to the start of a new journey together.  We come together refreshed/recharged and ready to embark on another great year.  The O'Dea staff team has been hard at work planning for your return.  Please see the attached calendar ( Parent Welcome Back 2024-25.pdf ) for important back-to-school dates and announcements!
