I hope everyone is enjoying our first blast of winter weather!  Our first snow always brings joy to O’Dea with recess in the winter wonderland.  One of the best features of our playground is our field!  Remember to play in the snow - we ask that students have snow boots, pants, and mittens/gloves☃️.

We are looking forward to the Talent Show on 12/19 @ 9:30!!!!  Parents, please join us to see all the wonderful talent, genius, and potential of our students (and staff :)

NEW - 12/9 PTA Meeting this Tuesday will be in person!!!!  Please join us in the O’Dea Media Center from 6:30-7:30.  The PTA wants to hear from YOU! We’re trying to boost parent involvement and get real feedback from our school community, so this month’s meeting is all about your ideas and what you’d like to see from the PTA moving forward. Attend and be entered to win a King Soopers gift card.  We’ll have snacks and childcare, so come hang out, share your thoughts, and help shape what’s next!

We will have O'Dea Artwork on display at the Creative Endeavors PSD Art Show!In the O’Dea Art room, each student in Kindergarten through 5th Grade created their own puzzle piece design reflecting their own personal interests and style. These pieces are hung together as a collaborative artwork and will be on display at the Foothills Mall. This year marks the sixth annual Giving Tree program for O'Dea. The Giving Tree program assists O'Dea families in need by purchasing presents during this holiday season. Here at O'Dea, we are a family that is always there for one another. The Giving Tree is the perfect opportunity to show our support during this giving season. Please consider donating! Please be aware that all donations need to be delivered during weekdays, not over winter break. The last day for donations will be December 15th. The PTA will be coordinating parent volunteers to help wrap presents on the morning of December 17th. Please keep an eye out for upcoming information. We are also looking for donations to wrap the Giving Tree gifts!  Wrapping paper, tape, bows, bags and tissue. Please bring any donations to the front office before our wrapping party on December 17th:)
