Kindergarten class lists & staggered start day assignments emailed to parents. Kindergarten will have a staggered start with half of the students coming on 8/19 and the other half on 8/20. ALL kindergarten students attend Friday 8/21. |

8/18 |
Classroom Material Drop-Off and Popsicle Party • 4:00–5:30 PM (K–5th) Come drop off your backpack, meet your teacher, see your classroom, and have a popsicle! |

First Day of School Kinder Staggered Start Day 1 (½ of kindergarten students have their first day). |

8/20 |
Kinder Staggered Start Day 2 (½ of kindergarten students have their first day). Spirit Night at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar • 4:00–10:00 PM • 20% of proceeds benefit O’Dea PTA. |

📅 School Hours • Start Time:
• End Time: 3:43 PM 🚸 Arrival & Dismissal • Student Arrival (Non-Breakfast): 8:50–9:00 AM • Walking or Biking? Arrive 8:50–9:00 AM so crossing guards are in place. 🚦 Crossing Guards • Staff stationed at: Drake/Stover, Drake/Tulane, Purdue & Tulane, and Princeton/Tulane. • Student crossing flags: Stanford/Princeton, Stanford/Brown, Stanford/Tulane, and other intersections. |
🥣 Breakfast • Available: 8:40–9:00 AM in the cafeteria. • Not eating breakfast? Please come after 8:50 AM. 🚪 Morning Routine • Arrival: Students line up outside their classroom door from 8:50–9:00 AM. • Morning recess: There is no morning recess, allowing teachers time to prepare for the day. 🚗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Zones • Drop-off lanes: North side (Princeton) and south side (Tulane). • Safety: Please use only the designated lanes. ⏰ End-of-Day Pick-Up • Dismissal: 3:43 PM • Pick-up by: 3:50 PM |
