O'Dea Owl Families!
It's been a great week at O’Dea! Next week, our 5th Graders head out for Eco Week, an overnight adventure! This is a fantastic experience that students will remember for the rest of their lives and makes 5th Grade truly special. We had a great first PTA meeting, and special thanks to the new President, Jose Murillo! Thanks for your leadership!
Smok Barbeque was a great event – thanks to all the families that joined us! We are excited to have a couple of family engagement events coming soon: 9/16 School Accountability Meeting, and 9/27 CSU Canvas Stadium Community Classic (see below for more information).
Important Announcements and Updates
Boosterthon Kickoff – Annual O’Dea Fundraiser and Fun Run Family Event (10/4). We partner with PTA and strive for a $50,000 goal to support O’Dea. Funds will support O’Dea Teachers and Students directly and have impact on all students at O’Dea! The Boosterthon is a whole school event where students win prizes for fundraising, and we all rally to support O’Dea. From 9/24-10/4 we have daily events, prizes, and fun for all students. We conclude with all-school Fun Run on 10/4.
