We had a fabulous week at O’Dea. We completed our first week of CMAS! 3rd and 5th-grade students rocked it and did their best to showcase their learning. 5th-grade students continue with Science and Math next week, and 4th-grade students start Math and Reading/Writing next week! Thanks, parents/guardians, for supporting your students in showing all the wonderful things they have learned at O’Dea!
We have had several O'Dea Artists honored at the PSD Designs and Images Art Show - CONGRATULATIONS to the following students who currently have artwork on display at the Poudre School District: Designs and Images Art Show (April 10 to May 7 at the Foothills Mall)!
Mark your calendars—The Core Fair is May 15th, 5:30-8:00. Please join us for an evening of fun and celebration of the O’Dea community! Like the last two years, we will have an action-packed evening: Jr. Choir will be performing, a live band—The Waido Experience—will be playing, food trucks will be present, specials will be showcased, Core Knowledge Student Projects will be presented, a Silent Basket Auction will be held, and more!

Fun Run and PTA Funds Update – Marquee is progressing; we received some fantastic news! PSD let us know that they will be funding this completely! PSD allocated some of the 24/25 Mill Levy initiative to support. We raised $20,000 for the Marquee during the Fall Fun Run, and these funds will now be available to support O'Dea in other ways. These funds will be held in reserve until next year – we are working with PTA and O’Dea Staff to identify where these extra funds can best support O’Dea.

As warm weather arrives, please try and adhere to our drop off (8:40 for breakfast/8:55 no breakfast) and pick up (by 3:53). We narrow teachers' duties to ten minutes before school and after to honor all the time they put in to make O’Dea phenomenal!
